She is aiming to raise $85,000.  Schneck <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/04\/15\/aaron-carter-mom-launches-walk-of-fame-gofundme\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">told <em>TMZ<\/em><\/a> that the effort has the support of Carter\u2019s brothers, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/nick-carter\/\" id=\"auto-tag_nick-carter\" data-tag=\"nick-carter\">Nick Carter<\/a> and Angel Carter. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cThe funds will cover the creation, installation, and long-term maintenance of the star,\u201d Schneck wrote on the GoFundMe page. \u201cWe are coming together as fans, friends, and supporters to honor Aaron Carter\u2019s legacy. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer. If you\u2019re unable to give, sharing this campaign means just as much. Let\u2019s come together to celebrate Aaron\u2019s life, his music, and the lasting mark he left on so many hearts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tA star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame involves a <a href=\"https:\/\/walkoffame.com\/nomination-procedure\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">nominations process<\/a> via the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Each year, the committee selects 24 to 30 people for inclusion on the Walk of Fame. The criteria includes \u201cprofessional achievement, longevity in the category of five years or more, contributions to the community, and the guarantee that the celebrity will attend the dedication ceremony if selected. Posthumous awards require a two-year waiting period after death.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe deadline for this year\u2019s nominations is May 15. Schneck confirmed to TMZ that she plans to submit the application for Carter for that date. The application fee is $275.
