Olivia Rodrigo<\/a> has shared the lead single from her upcoming third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love<\/em><\/a>. \u201cDrop Dead\u201d arrives alongside a music video directed by Petra Collins and filmed at the Palace of Versailles in Paris. Watch it below.<\/p>\n In the new song, which Rodrigo discusses stalking a crush from bed, said crush being a Gemini (she\u2019s a Pisces), and the Cure\u2019s \u201cJust Like Heaven,\u201d all while twirling around Marie Antoinette\u2019s with a pink guitar and a pair of pink headphones in tow. Dan Nigro produced the track, and Amy Allen co-wrote it.<\/p>\n Rodrigo announced YSPSFAGSIL<\/em> earlier this month, telling fans in a newsletter: \u201cNo matter how hard I try to write love songs they always come out laced with a little melancholy.\u201d The announcement landed shortly after Rodrigo, in rollout fashion du jour, wiped her Instagram and a billboard with the album title popped up on Los Angeles\u2019 Melrose Avenue. YSPSFAGSIL<\/em> reunites Rodrigo with Nigro, who she also collaborated with on her 2021 debut, Sour<\/em>.<\/p>\n The pop star released her last album, Guts<\/em><\/a>, in 2023, which she supported via a world tour<\/a> with the Breeders, a deluxe edition<\/a> and a concert film<\/a>.
