Slayer will be supported on that date by Cannibal Corpse, Cavalera (featuring Sepultura&#8217;s Max and Igor Cavalera) playing\u00a0Sepultura&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Chaos A.D.<\/em> full, and Crowbar.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday. You can find more information at Slayer&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slayer.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Why Slayer&#8217;s Upcoming &#8216;Reign in Blood&#8217; Shows Are So Significant<\/h3>\n<p>Released in October 1986,\u00a0<em>Reign in Blood<\/em> is widely considered one of the greatest\u00a0thrash metal albums of all time.\u00a0Featuring classics such as &#8220;Raining Blood&#8221; and &#8220;Angel of Death,&#8221; the\u00a0album cemented Slayer&#8217;s place in the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/big-4\/\" target=\"_blank\">Big 4<\/a>&#8221; of thrash (alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/metallica\/\" target=\"_blank\">Metallica<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/megadeth\" target=\"_blank\">Megadeth<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/anthrax\/\" target=\"_blank\">Anthrax<\/a>) and had an incalculable influence on future extreme metal bands.<\/p>\n<p>Slayer&#8217;s upcoming\u00a0<em>Reign in Blood<\/em>\u00a0shows are made even more special by the fact that the band\u00a0has only played a handful of concerts over the past three years. They <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/slayer-last-shows-photos\/\" target=\"_blank\">completed their farewell tour<\/a> in 2019\u00a0but <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/slayer-officially-reunite-announce-first-show\/\" target=\"_blank\">returned to the stage<\/a> in 2024 for a pair of festival performances, followed by six\u00a0shows\u00a0in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>Reign in Blood<\/em> shows bring Slayer&#8217;s total 2026 show count up to four so far.
