\n<\/p>\n
Season 4 of Farmer Wants a Wife<\/em><\/a> debuts on Fox on Tuesday night (April 21), and it will take viewers on an unexpected ride.<\/p>\n Brett Maverick (35), Braden Pridemore (26), and Sean Cavanaugh (22) start their journeys to find love, and have even been publicly teasing that their season results in all of them finding it.<\/p>\n Ahead of the show premiere, the three bachelors talked to Taste of Country, giving us all the behind-the-scenes insight.<\/p>\n READ MORE<\/em>:<\/strong>\u00a0Did Ella Langley Date Farmer John Sansone?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cAt the time, I was already pretty used to the cameras,\u201d Maverick begins.<\/p>\n \u201cYou get to a point where you don\u2019t even think about them being there anymore. For me, the first time I kissed on camera, really the only thing I was thinking was, ‘I hope this doesn’t\u00a0look weird on camera.’ Other than that, it was fine as I was comfortable with everybody.\u201d<\/p>\n Cavanaugh’s experience was a little different.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was weird having an intimate moment with someone, and then you would look over your shoulder and there was a guy sitting there with a camera zooming in on your face,\u201d Cavanaugh said.<\/p>\n \u201cThat aspect of it was kind of strange, but I think as the season progressed, you get more used to it!\u201d<\/p>\n Pridemore also said the filming aspect was tough to get used to.<\/p>\n \u201cAnything you do on camera coming from our background is kind of weird, and I don\u2019t think you ever get used to it,\u201d Pridemore adds. \u201cYou kind of have to block it out, and forget that they\u2019re there, which is hard to do.\u201d<\/p>\n Cavanaugh said he hopes people see his maturity.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m the youngest one of the group,\u201d Cavanaugh begins.<\/p>\n \u201cMy age differential, people probably have a lot of judgement behind that. I\u2019m a little bit more mature than a typical 22 or 23 year old, and I think for me and my situation, I was ready to settle down, and I think a lot of people my age aren\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile,\u00a0Maverick wants people to know he has a fun, relaxed side.<\/p>\n \u201cI think this comes across a lot, especially people I don\u2019t know very well, but I can be pretty stoic,\u201d Maverick says. \u201cI can be pretty reserved around people I don\u2019t know, but once I\u2019m comfortable with and get to know people, I\u2019m just an idiot. It takes a minute to get to that point and see that, but it can come off as, ‘He doesn\u2019t talk.’\u201d<\/p>\n Pridemore says he’s an open book.<\/p>\n \u201cI wear my emotions on my sleeve,\u201d Pridemore shared. \u201cI am an open book. I like to say I\u2019m a really bad poker player, I don\u2019t hide stuff well\u2026what I\u2019m thinking or what I\u2019m feeling. I think you see that a lot on the show. You\u2019ll be able to tell just by my face what I\u2019m thinking.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you walk into the room, there are like 10\u00a0cameras and everybody staring,\u201d Maverick explains.<\/p>\n \u201cThen when you get to where you\u2019re meeting the girls for the first time, we were given a list of girls and you get to pick your top 20. You don\u2019t know which ones are going to be showing up, you\u2019re looking around going, ‘Which table is mine?’ That was the nerve-racking part.\u201d<\/p>\n Marverick jokingly shares that any farmer who goes on next season, don\u2019t wear new boots. The ground was wet, and as the farmer mentioned on camera, you can see him catch his step as he almost falls.<\/p>\n \u201cI took her to Santa Barbara for a weekend getaway,\u201d Cavanaugh shares. \u201cI then took her home for Thanksgiving with my family.\u201d<\/p>\n Farmer Brett did something similar.<\/p>\n \u201cWe ended the week of Thanksgiving, it was two days later,\u201d Maverick chimes in. \u201cI did something similar. We just stayed at my parents’ house in my hometown and just did nothing for three days. We just hung out and actually got to enjoy each other\u2019s company.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOnce you get that time off camera, you don\u2019t have to worry about anything,\u201d Pridemore expresses. \u201cWe just sat around. It just feels normal, you are just normally dating at that point and it\u2019s crazy because we met on a TV show. It\u2019s so crazy to think about now.\u201d<\/p>\n You can catch the premiere on Fox at 8PM\/7PM CT.<\/p>\n Season 4 of Farmer Wants A Wife<\/em> premieres Tuesday (April 21), with three farmers looking for love.
