\n\tKatseye<\/a> will perform at the 52nd American Music Awards <\/a>on May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Area in Las Vegas. The group received three nominations at this year\u2019s ceremony including New Artist of the Year, Best Music Video for their song \u201cGnarly,\u201d and Breakthrough Pop Artist.<\/p>\n

\n\tTaylor Swift leads with eight nods including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. The pop star is trailed by Sabrina Carpenter, Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, and Sombr with seven nods each. The event will air live beginning at 8 p.m. E.T. on Paramount+ and CBS.<\/p>\n

\n\tKatseye made their phenomenal Coachella debut<\/a> earlier this month and their set included a live premiere of their new single \u201cPinky Up\u201d and a cameo from Huntr\/x but was marked by the absence of Manon Bannerman. The gropu performed as a five-piece as they delivered back-to-back hits, from \u201cMean Girls\u201d and \u201cTouch\u201d to \u201cGame Boy,\u201d \u201cInternet Girl,\u201d and \u201cGabriela.\u201d The performance continued with \u201cMy Way,\u201d \u201cM.I.A.,\u201d and wrapped up with \u201cGnarly.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn February, Hybe and Geffen Records announced<\/a> that Manon Bannerman would be taking a hiatus from the global girl group. A few days before Coachella, Bannerman\u00a0updated fans<\/a>\u00a0in a WeVerse message. \u201cHxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported,\u201d she wrote at the time. \u201cI\u2019m happy and I\u2019m healthy. I\u2019ll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me.\u201d On April 9, Hybe confirmed to the\u00a0Korea Herald<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>that Bannerman would not appear during the Coachella set. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
