After a pair of records under aliases, Tricky<\/a> is back to his own artist name for his formal follow-up to 2020\u2019s Fall to Pieces<\/em><\/a>. Out July 17 via False Idols<\/a>, Different When It\u2019s Silent<\/em> was recorded between the trip-hop innovator\u2019s new home of France and old hometown of Bristol. In a press release, Tricky says simply, \u201cI just love making music. I\u2019m grateful I\u2019ve had the chance to live this life and keep creating.\u201d Since Fall to Pieces<\/em>, he has released music via the Lonely Guest and Theis Thaws projects, as well as sharing a joint record with Marta called Out the Way<\/em> last year.<\/p>\n
