Lucy Dacus<\/a> is back with her first new song of the year, \u201cPlanting Tomatoes.\u201d The track, which she originally released as a Record Store Day exclusive on April 18, landed on DSPs today, April 24\/ It comes alongside a shopping list-inspired lyric video that Dacus shot herself in Tokyo. Check it out below.<\/p>\n

Dacus shared her most recent solo album, Forever Is a Feeling<\/em><\/a>, in March 2025. Her debut album<\/a> as Boygenius<\/a>, her trio with Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker<\/a>, arrived in 2023, earning her and the band three Grammys including Best Rock Song for \u201cNot Strong Enough.\u201d Dacus will head out on a North American tour<\/a> later this year; for the run of shows, she\u2019s partnered with the Ally Coalition<\/a> to donate one dollar from every ticket sold to organizations supporting young queer and trans people.<\/p>\n
