On Monday, the Grammy-winner announced that her final performance as Moulin Rouge\u2019s owner and MC, Zidler, will be on May 1. Megan was originally slated to stay with the production until May 17.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s still unclear on who will be replacing her. Megan was the first woman to play the role of Zidler, who was previously billed as Harold Zidler. <\/p>\n

\n\tMegan\u2019s announcement arrives arrives nearly a month after she was transported to a hospital during her performance of\u00a0Moulin Rouge! The Musical<\/em>\u00a0and left the show mid-way.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe next day, Megan shared an update on the incident that had her feeling like she was \u201cgonna faint on stage.\u201d \u201cLast night was a real wake-up call for me,\u201d Megan posted on social media. \u201cI\u2019ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough. It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage, I really tried to push through my performance but I just couldn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA rep for Megan previously told\u00a0Rolling Stone<\/em> <\/a>that her condition forced her to abruptly end her performance midway and check into the hospital. \u201cOn Tuesday evening, Megan was transported to a local hospital to undergo a medical evaluation after experiencing concerning symptoms,\u201d the rep said in a statement. \u201cDoctors ultimately identified extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels as the cause of her symptoms.\u201d<\/p>\n

Megan\u2019s announcement also comes on the heels of her breakup from NBA star\u00a0Klay Thompson. \u201cCheating, had me around your whole family playing house\u2026 got \u2018cold feet,\u2019\u201d she wrote in an Instagram Stories post on April 25. \u201cHolding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season, now you don\u2019t know if you can be \u2018monogamous????\u2019 Bitch I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a formal statement to People<\/a><\/em>, she said, \u201cI\u2019ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay,\u201d Megan wrote. \u201cTrust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there\u2019s no real path forward. I\u2019m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
