\n\tZayn Malik<\/a> has canceled his upcoming U.S. tour, the singer announced Friday, two weeks after his hospitalization<\/a> for an unspecified illness.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe American leg of Malik\u2019s Konnakol Tour was set to begin July 12; prior to that, the singer had gigs scheduled for Europe and Mexico the next two months. Some of those shows will continue as scheduled, but Malik announced on social media Friday that his U.S. arena dates this summer and fall have been canceled.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTo my fans: Thank you so much for all the support and love you\u2019ve shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health. I\u2019ve felt it, and it\u2019s meant the world. I\u2019ve been at home recovering and I\u2019m doing well and will be better and stronger than before,\u201d Malik wrote in an Instagram Story.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to the new itinerary, Malik will still perform at some of his previously scheduled international dates throughout the year, but both legs of his American tour \u2014 in June\/July and November \u2014 have been canceled entirely, with refunds promised to ticket buyers. \n\tThe tour change comes just weeks after Malik revealed he was hospitalized for an unspecified reason; Malik\u2019s health update came on the same day he released his fifth solo album\u00a0Konnakol<\/em><\/a>. The singer was set to celebrate the day with several stops at record stores across the East Coast, but those appearances were subsequently canceled.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
