The Rolling Stones<\/a> have lifted the curtain on Foreign Tongues<\/em>, the new album they started teasing last month. The 14-track project arrives July 10 via Capitol. You can check out the album cover from artist Nathaniel Mary Quinn, along with the single \u201cIn the Stars,\u201d below.<\/p>\n The Stones sparked intrigue about their return in April by distributing posters in Camden Town, London, promoting their fabled<\/a> \u201cCockroaches\u201d pseudonym. Later, an article in the London Times<\/em><\/a> revealed that a single called \u201cRough and Twisted<\/a>\u201d would be released on April 11 as a limited-edition, white-label vinyl exclusive. A secretive Cockroaches website<\/a> concealed the GPS co-ordinates for a number of independent record stores that presumably carried the record.<\/p>\n The article noted that Andrew Watt, the producer behind 2023\u2019s Hackney Diamonds<\/em><\/a> (and the new Paul McCartney<\/a> album<\/a>), would helm the album.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a very intense few weeks recording Foreign Tongues<\/em>,\u201d Mick Jagger said in a statement. \u201cWe had 14 great tracks and we went as fast as we could. I like the room there as it\u2019s not too big so you can feel the passion in the room from everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n Added Keith Richards, \u201cThe Foreign Tongues<\/em> album has a continuity from Hackney Diamonds<\/em> and it was great to be working in London again, and to have that London vibe around us. It was a month of concentrated punch. To me, it’s all about the enjoyment of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
