The Rolling Stones<\/a> have released two brand new songs, titled “Rough and Twisted” and “In the Stars.”<\/p>\n They’re part of their upcoming album, Foreign Tongues<\/em><\/a>, which will be released on July 10.<\/p>\n You can listen to\u00a0both tracks below. “In the Stars” will receive a physical release later this month on May 15.<\/p>\n Read More: Top 100 Rolling Stones Songs<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Recorded at\u00a0Metropolis Studios in London,\u00a0Foreign<\/a> Tongues<\/a><\/em> arrives\u00a0approximately two and a half years after the Stones’ last album, 2023’s Hackney Diamonds<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>\u2014\u00a0both releases were produced by Andrew Watt. At present, it’s unclear whether the band has any plans to tour in support of the new album.<\/p>\n One particularly special thing about Foreign Tongues<\/em> is that it features an appearance by the late Stones drummer Charlie Watts<\/a>, captured during one of his last recording sessions before passing away <\/a>in 2021.<\/p>\n Additionally, the album features various famous guests: Steve Winwood<\/a>, Paul McCartney<\/a>, the Cure<\/a>‘s Robert Smith<\/a> and Chad Smith<\/a> of the Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/a>.<\/p>\n “The atmosphere in the room was so creative, and the whole band was on top form throughout the whole process,” guitarist Ronnie Wood<\/a> said in a statement. “Very often we nailed it on the first take.
