Zach Bryan<\/a> shouted\u00a0vulgarities at a fan in Mississippi last Saturday, but he says he was just joking.<\/p>\n The internet didn’t find the funny, and\u00a0that’s led to\u00a0a familiar script:\u00a0Bryan’s snappy defense, Gavin Adcock<\/a> dunking on him and the deletion of\u00a0X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram pages.<\/p>\n The “Something in the Orange” hitmaker has made headline after headline for (at best) not understanding how his words will be received.<\/p>\n Here are the greatest hits, so to speak:<\/p>\n The latest chapter was written in Starkville, Miss., on May 2.<\/p>\n READ MORE<\/strong><\/em>: Every Current Country Music Feud, Beef and Vendetta, Updated<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n A longtime fan\u00a0who goes by @LoganW_24 on TikTok shared video of the interaction.<\/p>\n “I gotten there really early to be at the gates and saw him as I was walking up. I don\u2019t take it to heart for what he said, but still calling a fan a c*mshot after asking for a photo is kinda crazy,” he writes.<\/p>\n You’re right @LoganW_24. Calling a fan a c*mshot is kind of crazy. But, there may be more to the story.<\/p>\n Social media users were quick to point out that Bryan was quoting a sketch comedy show called I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson<\/em>. It aired on Netflix from 2019 to 2023 and is known for cringe comedy.<\/p>\n In the above video, one can only make out Bryan saying the word “c–shot” but he’s clearly starting a sentence before Logan W even begins to ask for his picture.<\/p>\n Before deleted his X profile, Bryan said, “You guys are so soft & weird” alongside videos of the incident and a sketch from the show.<\/p>\n Later he added, “A world you can\u2019t yell \u2018I Think You Should Leave\u2019 references out the window in is a world I don\u2019t want to be in.”<\/p>\n I Think You Should Leave<\/em> may not be the most famous Netflix show ever, but it has a loyal audience and receives mostly positive reviews from critics and fans.
