Big Freedia<\/a> is releasing a three-song EP she made with the late SOPHIE<\/a> in 2016. The project doesn\u2019t have a title or official tracklist yet, but it\u2019s set to arrive June 19. On May 22, Freedia will drop the single \u201cBlaze That Ass,\u201d which has made the rounds online for years via leaks and live rips of SOPHIE\u2019s DJ sets.<\/p>\n

\u201cRecording with SOPHIE is something I hold even closer to my heart now, especially after her passing,\u201d Freedia said in a press release. \u201cShe was an artist who showed the world that living boldly is your greatest power. With this EP, I want to show the world how loved she was and still is!\u201d<\/p>\n

Big Freedia\u2019s latest full-length, the gospel album Pressing Onward<\/em><\/a>, came out in 2025. Last year also marked the 10th anniversary of SOPHIE\u2019s singles collection Product<\/em><\/a>, which got a new deluxe edition<\/a> and saw the official release of \u201cSunscreen<\/a>,\u201d a fan-favorite collaboration with Liz.<\/p>\n
