The pop star came out to sing “Houdini” and Tame Impala’s “After Thought” on Thursday night<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\tDua Lipa<\/a> sure does come and go. On Thursday night, the pop star surprised the audience at London\u2019s the O2 Arena when she came out during Tame Impala<\/a>\u2018s show to perform a couple of tracks.<\/p>\n

\n\tLipa joined Tame Impala\u2019s Kevin Parker onstage right in the middle of his performance of their 2025 song \u201cAfter Thought.\u201d There was no introduction, not that the pop star really needs<\/em> one, as Lipa sauntered onstage and immediately sang the song\u2019s chorus. Once the song ended, Parker did refer to Lipa as his \u201cgood friend\u201d before they performed her 2024 hit \u201cHoudini.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLet\u2019s play a song that we made together!\u201d Parker said as the collaborators broke into the funk-inspired notes. The musician-producer worked on the majority of Lipa\u2019s Radical Optimism<\/a><\/em> tracks as a producer. \u201cHer editing is brutal \u2026 I\u2019d kind of recoil in horror and go, \u2018Oh, no, it\u2019s a great verse!’\u201d Parker told Rolling Stone<\/a><\/em> in 2024 for Lipa\u2019s cover story. \u201cBut then an hour later, we\u2019d have something that I can\u2019t imagine not being in the song,\u201d he added about making \u201cHoudini.\u201d In that same story, Lipa admitted that she \u201cwas so nervous because I\u2019m just such a fan of Kevin\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSince then, the pair have continued to publicly support each other. In 2024, Lipa brought Parker out for her headlining set at Glastonbury Festival<\/a>. The pair sang \u201cHoudini,\u201d of course, and also performed Tame Impala track \u201cThe Less I Know the Better.\u201d During her 2025 Radical Optimism<\/em> tour, the pop star also invited Parker to join her onstage in Melbourne, Australia.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
