\n\tMick Jagger<\/a> said he \u201ccan\u2019t wait\u201d to get the Rolling Stones<\/a> back on the road. During an interview<\/a> with BBC<\/a> Radio 2 alongside Ronnie Wood<\/a>, Jagger confirmed that the rock band does plan to tour again in the future. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI\u2019d love to go on tour,\u201d Jagger said. \u201cI can\u2019t wait.\u201d He added, to manage expectations: \u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s going to be this year. But hopefully it\u2019s going to be as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tJagger\u2019s confirmation comes after the band apparently scrapped plans last year<\/a> for a U.K. and European stadium tour intended for 2026. Last January, a report emerged that the group was presented with several offers for shows over the summer but dismissed them due to logistical issues surrounding the venues and travel, as well as preexisting commitments.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Rolling Stones\u00a0last toured<\/a>\u00a0in 2024 in support of their 2023 effort,\u00a0Hackney Diamonds<\/em>, including 20 concerts in North America. The tour was a massive production, involving rehearsals of more than 60 songs from the band\u2019s catalog after the\u00a0album\u2019s launch<\/a>\u00a0in London and a\u00a0pop-up concert<\/a>\u00a0in New York City.<\/p>\n
