This has meant playing in bigger rooms with songs that uncover new layers of her songwriting. It\u2019s also meant building a creative partnership with producer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/aaron-dessner\/\" id=\"auto-tag_aaron-dessner\" data-tag=\"aaron-dessner\">Aaron Dessner<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s definitely my favorite music I\u2019ve ever made,\u201d Abrams told <em>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/news\/general-news\/gracie-abrams-new-music-album-chanel-campaign-1236467779\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hollywood Reporter<\/a> <\/em>earlier this year. \u201cI feel very closely connected to it. I appreciate so much that these albums are time capsules of where I\u2019m at in my life at any given point, but right now it does feel very like me. Abrams wrote \u201cHit the Wall\u201d in New York following the conclusion of the <em>Secret of Us<\/em> tour.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cI was missing friends and feeling a bit disconnected from from a lot of my life, I suppose,\u201d Abrams told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WpbAcEsYLfY\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">SiriusXM<\/a><\/em>. \u201cIt was the first time in a in a while I was able to put words to these feelings that are a bit intrusive and uncomfortable to sit with.
