\n\tTaylor Swift<\/a> made a stop at the Dolby Theatre for the premiere of Toy Story 5 <\/em>on Tuesday night in Los Angeles. While her arrival came as a surprise, it wasn\u2019t totally unexpected, as the star had recently released her new song for the film\u2019s soundtrack, the country-tinged \u201cI Knew It, I Knew You.<\/a>\u201c<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile chatting with others in attendance, Swift posed for a photo with the cast of the highly-anticipated film.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI Knew It, I Knew You\u201d marked a return to Swift\u2019s country roots, which swept country radio upon its debut<\/a>. This week, Swift made history when the song received playlist pickups from all Mediabase-monitored country stations \u2014\u00a0making the track the first song by a female artist to ever close out the panel on impact in the very first week. Notably, the historic marker arrives as we head into the 20th anniversary of her debut single,\u00a0\u201cTim McGraw\u201d<\/a>\u00a0on June 19, which also happens to be\u00a0the same day\u00a0Toy Story 5<\/em>\u00a0hits theaters.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an earlier Instagram post, Swift shared insight behind the making of the song, which pulls inspiration from the\u00a0Pixar<\/a>\u00a0series\u2019 beloved character Jessie. \u201cWriting this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once,\u201d Swift wrote alongside a video of herself as a little girl wearing a cowgirl hat and boots. The singer said being a\u00a0Toy Story<\/em>\u00a0fan since she was five years old \u201cis an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
