The Madison, Wisconsin-born, Chicago-bred rockers Slow Pulp<\/a> are back with a new album, Melodie,<\/em> their first since 2023\u2019s Yard<\/em>. It\u2019s out September 18 on ANTI-. The announcement comes with a lead single, \u201cBetter Man,\u201d which you can listen to below, along with a full slate of tour stops. Feller, Snuggle, Her New Knife, Goon, Ivy, Graham Hunt, and Current Union will open for the band on select dates.<\/p>\n

\u201cI realized that I had let go of the controls of my own life and instead was fully prioritizing what I thought people around me wanted from me,\u201d singer Emily Massey said in a statement about the \u201cBetter Man,\u201d adding that \u201cthis song is me both letting go of control but taking control of myself in a new way, and accepting myself for who I am, and hoping that can be accepted by everyone else.\u201d<\/p>\n
