He was 29.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tA statement by the Metro Nashville Police Department said that no foul play is suspected in the death of the Grammy-nominated artist, born Brytavious Chambers. \u201cHe was found dead in his Martin St apt this afternoon by officers performing a welfare check,\u201d read the statement. \u201cHis death is unclassified pending autopsy results.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBorn Sept. 20, 1996, the Tennessee native garnered acclaim for co-producing Travis Scott\u2019s 2018 hit track \u201cSicko Mode,\u201d which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination for\u00a0Best Rap Song. Throughout his career, Keith also worked with Drake on \u201cNonstop,\u201d\u00a0BlocBoy JB\u2019s \u201cLook Alive,\u201d and Sexyy Red\u2019s 2023 song, \u201cPound Town.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tWhen speaking to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/tay-keith-her-loss-producer-interview-1234624953\/\">Rolling Stone<\/a><\/em> in 2022 about the influence Memphis had on his sound, Keith replied, \u201cI was born into this shit and raised in this shit. Memphis music is all I listened to and all my family listened to.
