\n\tAbout an hour after stepping offstage at Governor\u2019s Ball <\/a>in New York City, Slayyyter<\/a> sat down backstage with Rolling Stone<\/em> to shuffle through songs on her phone and chat about whatever happened to pop up. This was, of course, another fun episode of Rolling Stone\u2019<\/em>s Song Shuffle series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tFirst up was \u201cCountry Song\u201d by Jake Bugg<\/a>, from his 2012 self-titled debut LP. \u201cI love Jake Bugg,\u201d Slayyyter<\/a> says. \u201cI had this CD when I was in high school\u2026It would be a nice song to come on when you\u2019re by yourself in your house and there\u2019s a little bit of rain hitting the window. You\u2019re having a calm night, and want to be sad about something.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPortishead<\/a>\u2018s \u201cThreads,\u201d from their 2008 comeback album Third<\/em>, followed. \u201cThis song is kind of hectic,\u201d she says. \u201cThe outro freaks me out\u2026I like when music can evoke fear out of you just from the sonic palette and chords being off and dark and scary. I like weird noses. The music I\u2019m working on now, I want it to feel scarier and creepy and wrong and off-putting.\u201d<\/p>\n
