\n\tOzzy Osbourne<\/a>\u2019s bat-shaped throne from<\/a> his final concert<\/a> will be put on display at a museum exhibit in Birmingham, England celebrating the life and career of the late metal legend<\/a>, the BBC<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n \n\tThe throne will become part of the \u201cOzzy Osbourne Working Class Hero\u201d exhibit at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery starting July 1. The free exhibit opened last June, in the lead-up to Osbourne\u2019s Back to the Beginning farewell show, and its run has been extended until Sept. 27.<\/p>\n \n\tThe exhibit boasts an array of items and memorabilia from across Osbourne\u2019s career. It includes many of his myriad accolades and honors \u2014 from industry prizes to platinum records \u2014 as well as photographs that trace his journey from his childhood in Birmingham\u2019s hardscrabble Aston neighborhood to heavy metal pioneer and world renowned rockstar.<\/p>\n \n\tOf adding the throne to the collection, Osbourne\u2019s wife, Sharon, said in a statement, \u201cAs we approach the one-year anniversary of Back to the Beginning, it feels fitting that Ozzy\u2019s throne, which has now become synonymous with his final performance, would be placed in the museum, where it can be seen by the fans who loved him.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tWhile the gothic throne, emblazoned with a bat\u2019s head and wings, is inextricably linked to Osbourne\u2019s final gig, he first utilized it during the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame<\/a> Induction Ceremony<\/a>. Due to his myriad health issues \u2014 including a Parkinson\u2019s disease<\/a> diagnosis in 2020 <\/a>\u2014 the throne was necessary on the handful of occcasions Osbourne was able to take the stage during the last years of his life.\u00a0<\/p>\n
