Carly Rae Jepsen<\/a> is back, with a new album on the way. Following a barrage of teaser posts<\/a> over the last couple of weeks, the ever-prolific pop singer has revealed that her official follow-up to 2022\u2019s The Loneliest Time<\/em><\/a> will be a 24-track double LP. Day and Night<\/a><\/em> is out September 18 on Interscope<\/a>. This Friday, Jepsen will release the record\u2019s lead single, \u201cOn Wires.\u201d Check out the cover art below.<\/p>\n According to press materials, Day and Night<\/em> is divided into two 12-song halves. The \u201cDay\u201d half is reportedly inspired by \u201970s psychedelic pop, while \u201cNight\u201d will zero in on the dancefloor. A full tracklist has yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n As is now tradition, Jepsen followed up The Loneliest Time<\/em> with a b-sides companion album, The Loveliest Time<\/em><\/a>. Last year, she reissued<\/a> 2015\u2019s much-lauded E\u2022mo\u2022tion<\/em><\/a> in a deluxe edition including four previously unreleased tracks.
