Brennan Wedl<\/a> has arrived at Anti-<\/a> for a new album out August 21. Co-produced by Waxahatchee<\/a>\u2019s Katie Crutchfield and indie wizard<\/a> Brad Cook, the self-titled record pairs Wedl with backing musicians including Snail Mail<\/a>\u2019s Lindsey Jordan, Colin Croom, and Matt McCaughan. Brennan Wedl<\/em> is the Nashville-based musician\u2019s formal solo debut. It follows her sole LP with Dazey and the Scouts, 2017\u2019s Maggot<\/em>, and a 2019 mini album, Holy Water Branch<\/em>; Wedl also released the EP Sleeping With Jeans On<\/em> in 2021. Snail Mail and Soccer Mommy are preparing to take her on the road for the first half of their co-headlining tour<\/a> this fall, before Wedl plays headline dates in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and Philadelphia in October.<\/p>\n
