Croz Boyce<\/a>, the duo of Animal Collective<\/a>\u2019s Avey Tare<\/a> and Geologist<\/a>, will hit the road for the first time this September. The U.S. tour kicks off in Asheville, North Carolina, on September 8 and wraps three weeks later at Public Records in New York. Festival dates at Austin\u2019s Levitation and Cincinnati\u2019s Talk Low Festival are sandwiched in the itinerary. Check it out below, along with a new More Eaze remix of Croz Boyce\u2019s \u201cTowson Acid.\u201d<\/p>\n

The duo\u2014otherwise known as Dave Portner and Brian Weitz\u2014released their self-titled Croz Boyce debut<\/a> last month. In a press release, Weitz said of the More Eaze link-up, \u201cSometimes you keep running into another artist you don\u2019t know personally and pick up on some parallel evolution. While we were working on the Croz Boyce songs, I saw Mari play both solo and in Water Damage and heard her solo LPs and collaborations with Claire Rousay. Between the guitar, violin, pedal steel, not to mention her sophisticated instinct for processing and collage, I thought she was traveling on a similar path and hoped to find a way to invite her into the project.\u201d<\/p>\n
