The band said the two members “won\u2019t be touring for the foreseeable future” including an upcoming show in Chile<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\tNew Order are heading to Chile for the first time in seven years, but they\u2019ll be playing Primavera Chile without two of their longtime members, the band announced on Monday.<\/p>\n

\n\tKeyboardist\/guitarist Gillian Gilbert and drummer Stephen Morris<\/a> \u2014 who have been married since 1994 \u2014 will not be joining the band in Chile or at future shows \u201cfor the foreseeable future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNew Order are very happy to be playing Primavera in Chile in November marking the band\u2019s first performance there in seven years,\u201d they wrote on Instagram. \u201cDue to personal health reasons, Stephen and Gillian won\u2019t be touring for the foreseeable future and will not be joining for this show.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe band did not offer further details, but added: \u201cBernard, Phil and Tom are really sorry that Stephen and Gillian can\u2019t join us this time, but unfortunately the circumstances make it impossible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s unclear what the health issues are and who will perform in lieu of Gilbert and Morris during their upcoming shows. A rep for New Order did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

\n\tNew Order<\/a>, along with Joy Division<\/a>\u00a0will finally be\u00a0inducted<\/a>\u00a0into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, after\u00a0decades of rejection<\/a>. The ceremony will take place on Nov. 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. It will air on ABC and Disney+ the following month.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
