{"id":67948,"date":"2026-07-06T11:44:29","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T11:44:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musicianvoice.com\/index.php\/2026\/07\/06\/review-silo-haze\/"},"modified":"2026-07-06T11:44:29","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T11:44:29","slug":"review-silo-haze","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musicianvoice.com\/index.php\/2026\/07\/06\/review-silo-haze\/","title":{"rendered":"REVIEW &#8211; Silo &#8211; Haze"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"articleFull\">\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Silo<\/strong> released debut album <em>Haze<\/em> on June 1 and it\u2019s a good punk listen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Opener <em>Static Screen<\/em> may be short but it kicks in immediately with some fantastic fills from the drummer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><em>Spin<\/em> picks right up where <em>Static Screen<\/em> left off. It\u2019s heavy, combines screams with some more melodic vocals for the hooks but never lets up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><em>Crawl in a Bottle<\/em> slows things down and has a more melodic focus with the vocal delivery. The track focuses on going to therapy for the first time and you can hear the emotion and angst in the delivery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><em>Impostor<\/em> confronts self-doubt in a really relatable way. It even captures the anger that some people feel towards themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">There are some good riffs throughout the album, including in <em>Ill Intent<\/em>, and the opening to <em>Forget It<\/em>, which also has a fab breakdown, as does Lucid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><em>Haze<\/em> is a strong debut.
