The comedian officiated Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden over the July 4 holiday weekend<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\tAdam Sandler <\/a>gave some simple advice to Taylor Swift<\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/a> as he officiated<\/a> the couple\u2019s star-studded wedding<\/a>: \u201cKiss every chance you have, every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid revealed the comedian\u2019s straightforward yet \u201ctouching\u201d guidance during an interview with CNN<\/a>. Reid also praised Sandler for doing a \u201cphenomenal job\u201d during the ceremony, which was held at Madison Square Garden on Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tSandler, who has been married to his wife Jackie since 2003, was able to bring \u201ca little bit of humor but also some sensitivity to what was going on,\u201d Reid added. In a separate interview<\/a>, Reid said Sandler\u2019s speech was \u201chysterical.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tReid was among the1,000 guests who attended Swift and Kelce\u2019s blowout wedding<\/a> over the July 4 holiday weekend. There were Kelce\u2019s NFL pals; Swift\u2019s longtime friends Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Zo\u00eb Kravitz, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Ed Sheeran, and the Haim sisters; country stars Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert; and familiar Hollywood faces like Bradley Cooper, Mariska Hargitay, Dakota Johnson, Steven Spielberg, and Nikki Glaser. Music icons Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks were also in attendance, and both reportedly performed during the reception<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tNews of Sandler officiating Swift and Kelce\u2019s big day caused some ripples of surprise from corners of the internet. But Sandler has previously hinted at his friendship with Kelce, who made a cameo in Happy Gilmore 2<\/em><\/a>. \u201cTravis is such a gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell,\u201d Sandler told Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s like the guys I grew up with. When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my buddies in high school and just being able to laugh and say the things you want to say.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
