Not the July 4 celebrations. Nothing to do with the World Cup, either. Just a casual invite-only ceremony and celebration at a 20,000 capacity arena <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/taylor-swift-travis-kelce-wedding-ceremony-1235575513\/\">for the wedding<\/a> of noted singer-songwriter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/taylor-swift\/\" id=\"auto-tag_taylor-swift\" data-tag=\"taylor-swift\">Taylor Swift<\/a> and professional football player\/podcast host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/travis-kelce\/\" id=\"auto-tag_travis-kelce\" data-tag=\"travis-kelce\">Travis Kelce<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIf you didn\u2019t hear anything about it, no worries at all. Seriously, it wasn\u2019t that big of a deal anyway, especially with everything else going on these days. It\u2019s just so hard to keep up!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBut if you <em>are<\/em> curious, we do know a few things about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/taylor-swift-travis-kelce-wedding-fan-reactions-1235588934\/\">intimate shindig<\/a> at Madison Square Garden. Not a whole lot, admittedly, since there was reportedly a strict no-phone policy for guests (as well as event staff and security). Still, some scattered details have emerged \u2014 about the guest list, the night\u2019s entertainment, the wise words of officiant Adam Sandler \u2014 which we\u2019ve happily rounded up here, because, like we said, we totally understand if this one just flew under your radar.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"the-ceremony\" class=\"heading larva \/\/   lrv-a-font-primary-l   \">\n\t\tThe Ceremony\t<\/h2>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tOn Friday, July 3, a rep for Swift issued a statement confirming that Swift and Kelce had tied the knot. The release contained a few details about the ceremony, which appears to have been a genuinely lowkey affair. There were no large wedding parties, with Swift\u2019s brother, Austin, serving as her \u201cman of honor,\u201d while Kelce\u2019s brother, Jason, was his best man.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAdam Sandler officiated the ceremony, and while we don\u2019t know exactly what he said yet, Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/adam-sandler-said-taylor-swift-travis-kelce-wedding-1235585936\/\">shared a few bits and pieces<\/a> in a recent interview. According to Reid, Sandler offered Swift and Kelce this bit of simple, but poignant advice, \u201cKiss every chance you have, every day.\u201d Reid also said Sandler did a \u201cphenomenal job,\u201d adding he brought \u201ca little bit of humor but also some sensitivity to what was going on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAs for the couple\u2019s vows, we don\u2019t have any direct quotes yet, but <em>People <\/em>Editor-in-Chief Charlotte Triggs shared some info on <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/PFPf2UFhcA4?si=p2GWdD1X6d6XOjo9\">CBS Mornings<\/a><\/em>. According to Triggs, Swift and Kelce wrote their own vows, read them from golden books, and each spoke for about 20 minutes. Their wedding ceremony looks were created by Christian Dior and designed by Jonathan Anderson, \u201cin close collaboration with\u201d Swift and Kelce. The shoes were custom Louboutin and Swift wore Cartier jewelry.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"the-venue\" class=\"heading larva \/\/   lrv-a-font-primary-l   \">\n\t\tThe Venue\t<\/h2>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIt had leaked out months ago that Swift and Kelce were set to wed at Madison Square Garden, though up until it actually happened there was speculation that the couple might be using the giant arena as a diversion. That, it turned out, was not the case at all. According to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/live\/2026\/07\/03\/style\/taylor-swift-wedding-travis-kelce\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The New York Times<\/a><\/em>, a wedding rehearsal was held Thursday (July 2) at the Infosys Theater at MSG, while the wedding and reception took place in the arena on Friday. There was also a huge security perimeter, with major thoroughfares around MSG closed off to cars and pedestrians.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"the-vibe-and-decor\" class=\"heading larva \/\/   lrv-a-font-primary-l   \">\n\t\tThe Vibe and Decor\t<\/h2>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAgain, we have no photo evidence yet, but Triggs said Swift and Kelce made some changes to the gigantic arena to make the proceedings feel somewhat intimate, like using giant drapes to cover up all the stadium seating. To start, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/stevie-nicks-performance-taylor-swift-travis-kelce-wedding-1235586080\/\">Stevie Nicks took the stage<\/a>, as confirmed by <em>Good Morning America<\/em> hosts Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopoulos (all of whom were in attendance). That said, there are plenty of big name attendees we do know, especially from the world of music: Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, the Haim sisters, Sombr, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Rascal Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney, and Maren Morris. For some Swifties maybe the most notable guest was Karli Kloss, who attended with her husband Joshua Kushner, a surprise after rumors of a rift between her and Swift.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAnd on Kelce\u2019s side, many of his Kansas City Chiefs teammates showed up, along with others in the NFL world including L.A. Outside the expertly orchestrated drip-drip, there\u2019s been only one genuine info dump, and it came from a highly unlikely source: AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron.
