Dhani Harrison<\/a>, the son of George Harrison<\/a>, and venerable producer Nigel Godrich<\/a> have formed a new duo. The musicians\u2019 debut self-titled album<\/a> as Dragonflies is due September 18 on Dark Horse Records\/BMG. Ruffmercy<\/a> directed the hand-drawn, impressionistic music video for the LP\u2019s opening track, \u201cSlower<\/a>.\u201d Watch it below.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has strong opinions about what he wants to hear, and for me it’s very humbling,\u201d Harrison said in a press statement, to which Godrich added, \u201cIt\u2019s like one person throwing something in the air and the other person catching it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harrison played guitar and sang on Dragonflies<\/em>, while Godrich handled production. The album also features percussion from Godrich\u2019s Ultra\u00edsta bandmate Joey Waronker and string arrangements by David Campbell, who has frequently collaborated with his own son, Beck, including on 2002\u2019s Godrich-produced Sea Change<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
