Bleecker Street\u2019s Crosswalk and Universal Pictures Content Group to release film that will be accompanied by new Mary McCartney-directed short Finding Faith<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n \n\tGeorge Michael<\/a>: The Faith Tour<\/em>, the unreleased concert film<\/a> capturing the singer\u2019s 1988 concerts in Paris on his first solo tour, has found distributors ahead of its theatrical release later this year.<\/p>\n \n\tBleecker Street\u2019s Crosswalk will release the film in North America \u2014 including a run of early access IMAX screenings \u2014 with Universal Pictures Content Group handling worldwide distribution.<\/p>\n \n\tThe film, directed by longtime Michael collaborators Andy Morahan and David Austin, features unseen footage from Michael\u2019s two gigs at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy (now the Accor Arena) during the European leg of the singer\u2019s Faith Tour. Fourteen 35-mm cameras were employed during the two-night shoot.<\/p>\n \n\tAdditionally, the concert film is preceded by a new Mary McCartney-directed short titled Finding Faith<\/em>, featuring voiceover from Michael during an unheard interview alongside unseen images captured by legendary American photographer Herb Ritts and behind-the-scenes footage of the \u2018Faith\u2019 music video.<\/p>\n
