At nearly every date, the group welcomed at least one A-lister into their backstage circle, turning MSG into Club Bon Jovi. \u201cDid this really happen???\u201d Bon Jovi asked on Instagram, posting a photo from the July 9 gig with no less than Paul McCartney. \u201cYes, it did.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tSpringsteen\u2019s right-hand man Little Steven Van Zandt showed up a few nights later, along with the War and Treaty and Robbie Williams. Ed Sheeran popped in for Night 6, as did Howard Stern, who inducted Bon Jovi into the Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame in 2018 and even posed for a photo. Oscar winner Forest Whitaker had an audience with the singer too.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tNight 7 indulged Bon Jovi\u2019s love for sports, with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and tennis legend John McEnroe mingling backstage. The husband-and-wife duo of Michael and Tanya Trotter joined Bon Jovi for \u201cThe People\u2019s House,\u201d while Springsteen gave the crowd a thrill by singing and playing guitar on \u201cWho Says You Can\u2019t Go Home\u201d and his own \u201cThe Promised Land.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAfter being sidelined by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/jon-bon-jovi-vocal-cords-forever-tour-1235579322\/\">vocal issues<\/a> and a subsequent surgery in 2022, the Madison Square Garden residency marked <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/jon-bon-jovi\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jon-bon-jovi\" data-tag=\"jon-bon-jovi\">Jon Bon Jovi<\/a>\u2019s first tour in four years. The band heads to the U.K. next month for five gigs, including three nights at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium.
