It features production by Tyler Smyth, Carl Restivo, Zakk Cervini, Dan Carey, and Sam Nelson Harris, and guest appearances from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/serj-tankian\/\" id=\"auto-tag_serj-tankian\" data-tag=\"serj-tankian\">Serj Tankian<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/kneecap\/\" id=\"auto-tag_kneecap\" data-tag=\"kneecap\">Kneecap<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/beartooth\/\" id=\"auto-tag_beartooth\" data-tag=\"beartooth\">Beartooth<\/a>, as well as Morello\u2019s son Roman Morello. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe musician previewed the LP with song \u201cDate Night,\u201d which recounts the true story of three young Dutch girls who served as spies, saboteurs, and assassins against the Nazis during World War II. And I make anti-Nazi songs for anti-Nazis. \u2018Date Night\u2019 is really a \u2018which side are you on?\u2019 song. If any of that offends you, do the math. Oh, and Roman Morello wrote the killer riff in this tune.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cDate Night\u201d is the second track to be released from <em>Everyone Gets Everything They Want<\/em>. Morello previously shared <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kSmATAKkrzo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u201cAdjourn It,\u201d<\/a> which features both Tankian and Roman. The track condemns the rising tide of racism and anti-immigrant bigotry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tMorello recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/tom-morello-bruce-springsteen-tour-1235521694\/\">wrapped a tour<\/a> with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-lists\/newport-folk-festival-2026-best-lauryn-hill-hayley-williams-1235599009\/\">performed at<\/a> Newport Folk Festival last weekend. He will perform at Louder Than Life in Louisville on Sept. 19. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn addition, Morello <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/springsteen-foo-fighters-morello-power-to-the-people-fest-1235569215\/\">announced<\/a> the Power to the People Festival, which is billed as a \u201ccelebration of peace, justice, solidarity, music, and community action.\u201d The one-day event is set for Oct. 3 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, and will feature performances from Dave Matthews, Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, Public Enemy, Killer Mike, Brittany Howard, Dropkick Murphys, Jack Black, Serj Tankian, Grandson, the Neighborhood Kids, Taylor Momsen, Matt Cameron, the Linda Lindas, Darryl \u201cDMC\u201d McDaniels, and a DJ set by artist Shepard Fairey.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cThe Power to the People festival is about freedom, justice, equality and rock &amp; roll,\u201d Morello said in a statement. \u201cIt\u2019s about the power everyday human beings have when they come together through music, art, community, and action.
