The Mexican trio have linked up with the global DJ to put the finishing touches on their joint mixtape. All the action is now being captured in a YouTube livestream.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cWithout a doubt, [Fred Again..] is one of the brightest musical minds that we have met,\u201d Latin Mafia\u2019s Milton de la Rosa tells <em>Rolling Stone<\/em> before the livestream. \u201cIt\u2019s been a crazy experience to work with him because he\u2019s a very talented person.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tLatin Mafia went on Fred\u2019s radar after he declared himself a fan of their debut album, 2024\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-latin\/latin-mafia-interview-todos-los-dias-todo-el-dia-1235155412\/\"><em>Todos Los D\u00edas Todo El D\u00eda<\/em><\/a>. Since then, he had them over at his home in London where they have also hung out with and worked on music with Fred\u2019s close collaborator and brother Benjy Gibson. Latin Mafia includes Milton and his brothers Emilio and Mike, so this project has been a family affair. \u201cThey\u2019re very good people,\u201d Emilio says. \u201cWe love them so much. I would dare to say that they\u2019re close friends of ours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tWith both Latin Mafia and Fred\u2019s music rooted in emotions and the human experience, this is the perfect crossover collaboration. In a recent Instagram post, Fred gushed about them. \u201c[Latin Mafia] are makin some of my favourite music in the world right now,\u201d he wrote. \u201cIt\u2019s so beautiful but surprising but contained but adventurous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tLast December, Latin Mafia joined Fred for the last show of his USB002 Tour in Mexico City. Before the concert, they recorded an audiovisual performance called <em>Under the Fabric (Mexico City, 11th December 2025)<\/em>, which is a taste of their upcoming mixtape. Since this afternoon, they are livestreaming the whole creative process on YouTube. The three-day livestream won\u2019t end until they\u2019re done recording their highly-anticipated mixtape.
