\n\tNoah Kahan<\/a> has made it clear that he would never approve the use of his music to support the Trump administration. <\/p>\n \n\tOn Monday, the White House posted a series of Instagram photos depicting President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s visit to General Motors\u2019 flagship test site in Michigan. During his stop, the president took the opportunity to boast about his controversial tariffs <\/a>across the auto industry and pumped his fist while watching a drag race. The photo carousel was bizarrely soundtracked to Kahan\u2019s \u201cAmerican Cars,<\/a>\u201d a song the artist wrote for his sister, Sasha, about how she\u2019s the family\u2019s problem solver. <\/p>\n \n\tAfter a flurry of fans alerted Kahan by tagging him in the comments, the singer replied on Tuesday and wrote: \u201cWould never approve of my music being used in support of you or this administration.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tRepresentatives for Kahan and the White House did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2018s request for comment.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Trump administration has\u00a0drawn the ire of a growing list musicians\u00a0<\/a>for using their music, often without authorization. In July, Katy Perry<\/a>\u00a0criticized the administration after the White House\u2019s TikTok account used her hit \u201cFirework\u201d on a video of military strikes<\/a>.<\/p>\n
