\n\tJust days after Ariana Grande<\/a> released her new album Petal<\/a><\/em>, her rep revealed Sunday that the singer will take a \u201cstep back\u201d following the conclusion of her current tour.<\/p>\n \n\tAmid concerns about the singer\u2019s physical well-being, a rep for Grande told People<\/a><\/em> in a statement, \u201cAriana will be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cShe looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,\u201d the rep added. \u201cThis tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAs part of Grande\u2019s \u201cstep back,\u201d the singer-actress will no longer appear in a London West End revival of Stephen Sondheim\u2019s Sunday in the Park With George<\/em>, which would have reunited Grande with her Wicked<\/em> co-star Jonathan Bailey; it was also recently revealed that Grande would not be appearing in the upcoming season of American Horror Story<\/em><\/a> as previously announced, but that was due to conflicts with her Eternal Sunshine Tour and the show\u2019s production schedule.<\/p>\n \n\tThe rep\u2019s announcement comes as fans voiced their concerns online about Grande\u2019s body following the release of her \u201cPetal\u201d music video<\/a> on Friday. \u201cShe performs a very physical show, and there is a lot of athleticism involved,\u201d a source close to the singer told People<\/em>, downplaying the concerns.\u00a0\u201cShe performs healthily and successfully at a very high level night after night.\u201d<\/p>\n
