Ariana Grande<\/a> is \u201ctaking a step back from visibility\u201d after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour<\/a> later this month, a representative for the artist told People<\/em><\/a>. As such, the Petal<\/a><\/em> singer will no longer appear in the West End revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine\u2019s 1984 musical Sunday in the Park With George<\/em> alongside her former Wicked<\/em><\/a> co-star Jonathan Bailey. This news arrives after fans have voiced concern for the singer\u2019s health based on her appearance in public, on tour, and in music<\/a> videos<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cShe looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,\u201d Grande\u2019s representative said in the statement. \u201cThis tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.\u201d<\/p>\n A source \u201cclose to Grande\u201d also told People<\/em>, \u201cShe performs a very physical show, and there is a lot of athleticism involved. She performs healthily and successfully at a very high level night after night.\u201d<\/p>\n Grande has seven dates left on her headlining tour\u2014two shows in Chicago, followed by five concerts in London\u2014that last on through August 23, after which she will be retreating from the public eye. Because it\u2019s her first tour in nearly seven years<\/a>, Grande has been performing from both 2024\u2019s Eternal Sunshine<\/a><\/em> and 2020\u2019s Positions<\/em><\/a>, while also sneaking in a few Petal<\/em> tracks, like \u201cHate That I Made You Love Me<\/a>\u201d and \u201cPetal<\/a>.\u201d Grande will still appear in Focker-in-Law<\/em><\/a>, the latest installment in the Meet the Parents<\/em> film franchise, when it hits theaters on November 25.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
