Singer Brian Johnson<\/a> survived a scary close call during AC\/DC<\/a>\u2019s concert at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday night (Aug 1.)<\/p>\n The incident occurred during the band\u2019s final tune of the night. While the intro for their classic song \u201cFor Those About to Rock (We Salute You)\u201d began to play, AC\/DC wheeled out some replica Civil War-era cannons. It\u2019s a standard stunt for the beloved heavy rockers \u2014 something they\u2019ve done during performances dating as far back as 1981. Still, on this night the pyrotechnics took an unexpected turn.<\/p>\n As you can see in the video from\u00a0@photomusicrock<\/a>\u00a0below, one of the cannons malfunctioned as it was positioned onstage. The prop slammed down and\u00a0dropped a projectile which landed just inches from where Johnson was standing, causing the frontman to recoil.<\/p>\n Despite narrowly avoiding injury, Johnson didn\u2019t seem phased. The startled\u00a0singer simply stared\u00a0in shock for a moment, then proceeded to turn around and continue his performance.
