Fans were inexplicably refunded and the Salt Lake City music festival’s online presence was erased<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\tYours Always, a two-day music festival scheduled for Oct. 2 and 3 at Salt Lake City\u2019s Utah State Fairpark, has been cancelled without notice. The inaugural festival was set to feature Benson Boone<\/a> and Sombr<\/a>\u00a0as headlining acts. <\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to fans<\/a> on Reddit, ticket holders received refunds last week via email but weren\u2019t given an explanation. The organizers subsequently deactivated the festival\u2019s website<\/a> and social media accounts. One fan noted that their \u201csupport email\u201d came back as \u201cinvalid\u201d when they tried to contact Yours Always. Per a screenshot shared on X, fans were told that the festival was cancelled due to \u201cunforeseen circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ticket purchasers for the Yours Always Festival received a cancellation email today, and all social accounts for the festival have been deactivated. <\/p>\n

\n\tOne fan noted on Reddit<\/a>, \u201cJust happy I got my money back and hadn\u2019t told my daughters about it. They would be devastated.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAnother wrote, \u201cMy girl originally bought a ticket for Benson Boone is Wyoming, then this showed up so got her a ticket for this as it had multiple artist she wanted to see. Sold her Benson Boone ticket and now this is cancelled. Feel like this was a giant grift or something, like it was never going to actually happen. But yea very thankful refunds are going through.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOthers mourned the fact that the festival was Sombr\u2019s only local concert. \u201cYeah I\u2019m pretty sure it was cancelled, very glad you got your money back because this is so upsetting, especially because other than this festival there is no salt lake date,\u201d a fan wrote. \u201cso sad wish he would come here.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tStephen Sanchez, Labrinth, Joshua Bassett, Daniel Seavey, Bella Kay, B\u00d8RNS, the Hellp, Voila, and Thomas Day were also on the bill for Yours Always, which was announced in June. Tickets went on sale June 26. The festival was described as \u201ca new music experience coming to Salt Lake City,\u201d according to an archived version<\/a> of its website. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
