\n\tZZ Top<\/a> have cancelled their performance at the Hollywood Bowl scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 5. <\/p>\n \n\tIn a statement posted to the band\u2019s social media, frontman Billy Gibbons said, \u201cInsurmountable obstacles require canceling our Hollywood Bowl performance.\u201d He added: \u201cFriends, fans and followers of ZZ Top are the best in the business and the band is counting on everyone to bear with us for this brief interruption.\u201d<\/p>\n Ticket holders can get refunds at their point of purchase and all tickets, including transportation and parking passes, will be automatically refunded to the original payment method, per the statement.<\/p>\n \n\tZZ Top\u2019s The Big One tour currently has upcoming stops slated for Fresno, Califonia, on Friday and in Saratoga, New York, and Modesto, California, this weekend. Earlier this year, the band extended its 2026 tour with nearly two dozen new dates for the summer.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIt\u2019s true that we\u2019ve been spending a lot of time on the road, and the more we\u2019re out there, the better it feels,\u201d Gibbons said\u00a0in a press release announcing the new shows, per Ultimate Classic Rock<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIt\u2019s a good time for us and for the generations of fans who appreciate what we do,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019ve been at it for quite a while \u2014\u00a0something like five decades \u2014 and it seems we\u2019re getting good at it, so there\u2019s no reason to slow things down.
