\n\tDays after a Trump<\/a>-affiliated TikTok account used Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2019s \u201cAugust\u201d in a video, the singer has managed to get her song removed from the clip.<\/p>\n \n\tEarlier this week, the Team Trump account \u2014 created during the 2024 presidential campaign \u2014 posted a video of Donald and Melania Trump watching fireworks with Swift\u2019s \u201cAugust\u201d soundtracking the clip. \u201cI\u2019m sure @Taylor Swift is going to be super excited we used her song! #taylorswift #maga #august,\u201d the caption teased.<\/p>\n \n\tHowever, on Friday, U.S. users noticed that the Folklore<\/em> track had been removed from the offending TikTok, with the message, \u201cThe copyright owner hasn\u2019t made this sound available in your country.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIn the aftermath of Swift\u2019s endorsed<\/a> Kamala Harris in the 2024 election and Trump\u2019s declaration that \u201cI HATE TAYLOR SWIFT<\/a>,\u201d the Team Trump account has antagonistically used the singer\u2019s music<\/a> in their TikToks on several occasions.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tIt wasn\u2019t just \u201cAugust\u201d that was removed from a Team Trump TikTok: Variety<\/em> reports<\/a> that a Team Trump video using Swift\u2019s \u201cFather Figure\u201d that was posted back in November 2025<\/a> also had its sound stripped. However, it\u2019s not a blanket removal, as an official White House TikTok video from last November is still soundtracked by \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe White House also couldn\u2019t resist prodding Swift when the singer married Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden, unleashing a series of memes<\/a> on the day of the wedding in July.<\/p>\n
