\n\tElla Langley<\/a>\u2019s run with \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas<\/a>\u201d doesn\u2019t seem anywhere near slowing down, and this week, she\u2019s even beating Morgan Wallen<\/a> \u2013 whom she is opening for on select Still the Problem<\/a> tour dates this year. \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d just claimed its seventeenth week at the top of the Billboard<\/em> Hot 100, besting Wallen\u2019s previous 16-week run for \u201cLast Night\u201d in 2023. Only Shaboozey\u2019s<\/a> \u201cA Bar Song (Tipsy),\u201d Lil Nas X\u2019s \u201cOld Town Road\u201d and Mariah Carey\u2019s \u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You\u201d has reigned longer. Time \u2013 and the holiday season \u2013 will tell just how far \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas,\u201d which has arguably been the song of the summer<\/a>, is able to extend its reign.<\/p>\n \n\tWallen and Langley are more collaborators, however, than competitors: their duet, \u201dI Can\u2019t Love You Anymore,<\/a>\u201d just hit Number One on Country Airplay, giving Wallen his 22nd<\/sup> hit country single. Wallen, however, got bumped out of the Number Two spot on the Billboard<\/em> 100 this week by Ariana Grande, who came in behind Langley with \u201cHate That I Made You Love Me<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
