After sharing \u201cColors<\/a>,\u201d his first new song since 2023, back in May, the Tallest Man on Earth<\/a> has revealed details of his new album. Just Beyond Endless Mountain<\/em> was inspired by the traditional folk music of Sweden\u2019s Dalarna region, where Kristian Mattson grew up. It\u2019s out October 9 via Anti-<\/a>. Below, watch a bucolic video for the new single \u201cDeliver Me From Trying<\/a>,\u201d shot in the Swedish countryside.<\/p>\n \u201cSomewhere along the way I’d developed this immature aversion to the whole cultural inheritance I grew up with,\u201d Matsson said in press materials. \u201cBut now I live here again. I’ve read an incredible amount\u2014not just about the music, but about how people actually lived in the old days. I think that’s part of why this record feels more like me than anything I’ve made before.
