Jamila Woods<\/a> is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her debut album Heavn<\/em><\/a> with a short Stateside tour. The jaunt starts in Los Angeles on November 16 and travels to cities including Portland and New York City before concluding with a hometown show in Chicago on December 6.<\/p>\n \u201cTen years ago today the OG SoundCloud version of HEAVN<\/em> was born. My first child! The one who showed me a new version of myself \/ a portal to who I could be,\u201d Woods wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cLast night I found a journal entry from 2015, a year before the release. My band M&O had just broken up.
