\n\tSix months after Hayley Williams and producer Daniel James launched their new band Power Snatch with a surprise offering, EP1<\/em>, the duo is back with part two. <\/p>\n

\n\tOn Wednesday, EP2<\/em> released on Bandcamp<\/a> with four songs including \u201cMachete,\u201d \u201cNew Legs,\u201d \u201cBorn Dead,\u201d and \u201cHell Is a Highway.\u201d The excellent quartet carries a dose of Nineties alt-rock, while Williams\u2019 vocals sink into the potent lyrics and discordant, dreamy instrumentals. To promote the surprise drop, the band shared a clip of the surreal 1973 animated film Fantastic Planet against the lead track, \u201cMachete.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tWilliams released her most recent solo album,\u00a0Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party<\/a><\/em>, last year. Back in December, she covered the\u00a0Judee Sill<\/a>\u00a0classic \u201cLopin\u2019 Along Thru the Cosmos<\/a>\u201d with Florence Welch and her\u00a0Rolling Stone\u00a0<\/em>cover co-star<\/a>\u00a0Jack Antonoff. In April, Noah Kahan<\/a>\u00a0stopped by Williams<\/a>\u2018 Nashville show to perform \u201cDownfall<\/a>\u201d during her second of three nights at the Ryman Auditorium, on her\u00a0first-ever solo tour<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tAfter wrapping her Bachelorette Party<\/em> tour\u00a0in June, Williams announced that\u00a0she\u2019ll embark on another tour, dubbed The Hayley Williams Show<\/a>, with performances across North and Latin America. The trek kicks off on Sept. 3 in West Palm Beach, Florida, and extends through Nov. 27, when Williams will wrap with a performance in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The North American dates during The Hayley Williams Show run will be supported by Magdalena Bay and\u00a0Rico Nasty,<\/a>\u00a0while the Latin American leg will feature Annie DiRusso.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
