\n\tAfter it was reported Thursday night<\/a> that Dolly Parton<\/a> would be unable to attend the opening of NightFlight Expedition, the new roller coaster at her Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the country icon appeared virtually at Friday morning\u2019s unveiling and offered an update on her heath.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI\u2019m still in Nashville and I\u2019m sorry about that. I\u2019m supposed to be there in person, like we planned,\u201d Parton said in the video posted by the Knoxville News Sentinel,<\/em><\/a> in which she donned a pair of sparkly wings. \u201cNow I\u2019ve told you before, all my fans, that I have had a few little health issues. And sometimes I get a little dizzy, and I get dehydrated. And I\u2019m dehydrated. And so my Nashville doctor clipped my wings, saying you ain\u2019t traveling this week. So I guess if your doctor tells you you ain\u2019t traveling this week, you ain\u2019t traveling this week. So, I like to keep all of you in the loop like I said I would, on everything.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tParton has been candid on her social media pages about some recent health struggles <\/a>that have kept her from public appearances and performances, though she did drop by the opening of her Dolly\u2019s Tennessean Travel Stop <\/a>in Cornersville, Tennessee, back in June. In September, however, she\u2019s set to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award<\/a> at the 2026 Americana Honors & Awards in Nashville via video message.<\/p>\n
