The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event will be premiered across four weekends. While McCartney and Starr gave their approval for production to commence, Starr revealed that they weren\u2019t entirely happy with the scripts \u2013 particularly scenes regarding he and his first wife.<\/p>\n
\u201c[Mendes] had a writer \u2014 very good writer, great reputation, and he wrote it great, but it had nothing to do with Maureen and I,\u201d the drummer said in 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s not how we were. I\u2019d say, \u2018We would never do that.\u2019 But he\u2019ll do what he\u2019s doing and I\u2019ll send him peace and love.\u201d<\/p>\n
