Shygirl<\/a> is back with her first single of the year. She wrote and produced \u201cAlyse<\/a>\u201d with Karma Kid and JD Reid. Directed by Francesco Loy Bell and Oliver Bell, the song\u2019s six-minute, three-act video begins in media res\u2014as two halves of a wealthy couple each discover the other\u2019s affair\u2014and culminates with a chase through the streets of London. Only towards the end of the clip does Shygirl herself make an appearance. Watch it below.<\/p>\n

The last\u2014and only\u2014Shygirl full-length to date is 2022\u2019s Nymph<\/em><\/a>. Last year, she dropped two projects: Club Shy Room 2<\/em><\/a>, the sequel to her 2024 EP Club Shy<\/em><\/a>, and Alias is Me<\/em>, a remix companion to 2020\u2019s original Alias<\/em> with contributions from Sega Bodega, George Riley, JT, and Nick Le\u00f3n, among others. She also teamed up<\/a> with Eartheater for a pair of singles, \u201cShark Brain\u201d and \u201cDolphin.\u201d<\/p>\n
