The trio, who founded the startup, were sued for securities fraud, common law fraud, and breach of contract.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tOn Wednesday, lawyers for Gomez filed a motion to dismiss the artist from the suit, and said she should have never been dragged into the case in the first place. In a statement to <em>Rolling Stone<\/em>, Mathew S. Instead, the complaint claimed, \u201cfor three years, while the Company quietly collapsed around them, not one of its founders, officers, or directors said a word to the investors whose money was funding the collapse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn the motion to dismiss, Rosengart said that while Gomez \u201cagreed to support her mother Mandy Teefey\u201d and invested in and holds a minority stake in Wondermind, the star \u201cnever agreed to and did not manage\u201d the company. \u201cManagement was vested in Ms. Gomez\u2019s mother, Mandy Teefey, and Ms. Pierson, who ran the Company as co-CEOs and board members.
