As soon as the news of her death hit, fans tuned into the beloved superstar\u2019s music, sparking a 2,222 percent bump in U.S. streams since Monday, Aug. 24, according to Luminate.<\/p>\n \n\tUnsurprisingly, Parton\u2019s most-streamed song after her death was the vulnerable classic \u201cJolene,\u201d <\/a>which earned 2.7 million on-demand streams in the U.S. on Tuesday alone, marking a 1276.15 percent increase. The track is also one of the country icon\u2019s most-covered <\/a>hits. \u201c9 to 5,\u201d the pop-country smash that accompanied the singer\u2019s debut film of the same name, came in close second with 2.3 million streams. \u201cI Will Always Love You,\u201d followed with 1.7 million streams, \u201cHere You Come Again,\u201d came next and notched 1.3 million streams, and \u201cIsland in the Stream,\u201d rounded out Parton\u2019s top five most-streamed songs with 1.1 million streams.<\/p>\n \n\tGlobally, Parton\u2019s music got a huge bump, too. She earned 34.9 million streams worldwide on Tuesday which made for a 1,408 percent increase in international streams since Monday.<\/p>\n
