The superstar also sat down for a rare interview<\/a> as part of the Recording Academy\u2019s Icon Sessions this past week. All of it has inspired tons of fan theories tied to one specific color scheme that\u2019s emerged.<\/p>\n

While purple has come to represent Swift\u2019s Speak Now<\/em> era, during that London outing, Swift wore a lilac<\/em> purple dress with flowers, which fans are convinced foreshadows the primary color and aesthetics of the singer\u2019s 13th LP. Plus, in the \u201cBejeweled\u201d music video<\/a> from her Midnights<\/em> era, floor 13 of an elevator is, you guessed it, lilac-colored, while floor 3 is a deep purple.<\/p>\n

Each of these albums were notably released in the October month of their release year with Taylor Swift<\/em> on Oct. 24, Speak Now<\/em> on Oct. 25, and Red <\/em>on Oct. 22. Since Swift seemed to change the canvas for her \u201cBlank Space\u201d hit, one TikTok user<\/a> pointed out that it could mean that something<\/em> is coming on the only blank space created out of those release dates: October 23, which falls on a Friday this year.<\/p>\n

\n\tThere\u2019s no consensus amongst Swifties on just what<\/em> would be released in October, but there\u2019s a clear option: the re-recorded version of Swift\u2019s self-titled debut. When she bought back her masters<\/a> last year, Swift made it clear that the re-recorded version would be released \u201cwhen the time is right\u201d and it \u201cwill just be a celebration now.\u201d What better time to celebrate the album than in 2026, its 20th anniversary which doubles as Swift\u2019s 20th anniversary in the music industry. Lately, the singer has even been reflecting on the beginning of her career. \u201cIf I look back at the song \u2018Tim McGraw,\u2019 there are actually sort of hints at everything that was gonna happen in the next 20 years,\u201d Swift told<\/a> Mason Jr last week. She even wrapped that appearance by performing a touching medley of \u201cI Knew It, I Knew You,\u201d \u201cAugust,\u201d and \u201cAll Too Well.\u201d<\/p>\n

This surely set off alarm bells to the tune of Reputation<\/em> in any Swifties head. Last year, the superstar confessed that she hadn\u2019t \u201ceven re-recorded a quarter\u201d of her pivotal sixth album and admitted she wasn\u2019t sure if she would ever finish it. \u201cTo be perfectly honest, it\u2019s the one album in those first six that I thought couldn\u2019t be improved upon by redoing it. Not the music, or photos, or videos. So I kept putting it off,\u201d Swift added last year.<\/p>\n
